Jo paints "en plein air" (a French term meaning "out in the open air"), creating studies for larger studio paintings. Many of these paintings are done "alla prima" (all at once) and additional work in the studio is not necessary. These little gems are sought after by her collectors who visit the studio, where works as large as 60 x 72 are created. Many paintings are "one and only" originals and have not been reproduced.Selected paintings, mostly watercolors, do have reproductions available as giclee on watercolor paper and canvas.
